One such partnership which has garnered our attention and focus of late is our work we’re doing with Rivian Automotive Inc. A role we are very proud of, and appreciative to be in, considering the enormity with which Rivian is shaping the future of electric vehicles (EV) for the future of mobility.

Founded in 2009 by CEO RJ Scaringe, Rivian has emerged as a key player in the electric vehicle (EV) market. With a focus on adventure-ready electric vehicles, this industry-leading EV company has garnered significant attention and investment from major companies around the world, enabling them to fast-forward their developments in the EV game.

Rivian Models and Features

Rivian currently offers two primary models: the R1T electric truck and the R1S electric SUV. Both models are built on Rivian's flexible "skateboard" platform, which houses the battery pack, drive units, suspension, and braking system below the height of the wheel, allowing for a low center of gravity and excellent stability.

Recently launched but not yet available in the market are the R2 and R3 models, which will provide a more compact design, with increased range from a single charge of their batteries, to over 300 miles. These latest two additions to Rivian’s product line are expected to be released in 2026.
